About

Meet Robyn

Robyn Morales (she/her) is a young, perceptive artist who strives to create truthful, empathetic, and significant work in many fields. During her time at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television, she performed in multiple mainstage productions: Pippin (Berthe U/S & Swing), Into the Woods (Lucinda), and Something Rotten! (Ensemble). Robyn is a frequent collaborator on new works, including the world premiere workshops of Richard Danielpour’s opera, The Grand Hotel Tartarus, as well as Yesterday Once More. A jukebox musical based on the music of The Carpenters by Barbie Ross. UCLA also gave Robyn the fulfilling opportunity to work with peers regularly on student produced work. Some of her favorite credits include: Waitress (Becky), The Rocky Horror Show (Janet & Magenta), Bright Star (Alice).

As the music director of Awaken A Cappella, Robyn wrote a multitude of original arrangements. Later this year, she will be performing her arrangement of “The Grudge” by Olivia Rodrigo with the group at UCLA’s annual schoolwide talent competition, Spring Sing. Robyn loves to adventure and explore new things. When she isn’t performing, you can find her thrifting for new outfits, attempting to make decor for her apartment, or trying a new recipe.  Robyn loves to love and hopes to spread compassion through her work to as many people as possible.
